  1. I noticed the bootleg found here only includes two of the songs omitted from the official release on the Joshua Tree re-release deluxe edition; Help and C'mon Everybody.

    How come it doesn't include Stand by Me, and is this available anywhere else?

  2. Exactly what I thought:


    Comments: Broadcast on British TV as part of Island Records' 25th birthday celebration and subsequently released as a bonus DVD with the Joshua Tree remaster in 2007. The first two songs and Help are not included, presumably due to copyright issues. During With Or Without You, a tear gas bomb goes off in front of stage and Bono halts the performance to make sure the crowd is OK. When the song resumes, he improvises an extra verse of lyrics.

  3. I'm sorry, but perhaps you misunderstood me; you're really just repeating exactly what I said.

    I already know that the other two songs were also omitted from the official release, but I want to know why Stand by Me alone was omitted from the bootleg found on this site.

    So... does anyone have the answer to my question.

    Maybe because, not only Help and C'mon Everybody are covers, but so is Stand By Me?

    There's no (soundboard) recording of Stand by me. Broadcast cuts in with C'mon everybody.

    I was asking why Stand by Me is not in the bootleg, while the other two cover songs are.
