I profoundly appreciate the dedication to the miners and their families and I seriously admire their balls for performing a 23 years old and almost unknown song at their most successful and crowded tour ever. It's just that the performance itself didn't touch me - although I supposed it would. If they had played it in San Sebastian I probably would've been the happiest man on Earth. It's just that a song has to be performed VERY well to give you goosebumps from 20.000 kms away.
I don't really see how the performance this year was worse than the one 4 years ago and I don't think that it's an unknown song. The Joshua Tree did sell around 25 Million, you know.
