U going 2 this show Stu? If so hope 2 meet u mate.
    Cheers.

I'll be lining up from aound lunchtime, last time for Vertigo went hard and lined up for 33 hours to get front row, with having 2 stages this time i'll just go for right up to the outside ring.

All of us U2 Starters will have to work out a way of catching up for a chat, whether it meeting at a certain spot at a certain time or something, if people want to exchange mobile phone numbers, perhaps PM me and call on the day or something.

Perhaps lining us all up for a group photo shot back to this thread or something, might be pretty cool.

Depending on if we can all catch each other - a group shot would be great.
  4. For those interested:

The Australian U2 Show will be playing the after concert party on Friday the 3rd at The Royal Melbourne Hotel on Bourke St. Its a short walk from the stadium.

Same thing happened after Vertigo concert in 2006 and the place went off.

  5. Some shots of Ethihad as it was just this past weekend:

  6. Thanks Drew

In my opinion, The Claw fits well in this stadium. The stadium's structure looks like a spaceship base or something like that.

  7. It literally looks like it just landed there out of nowhere. It's just got this effect on whenever you see it you think what the fuck is that thing and how the hell did they come up with it from inception and an idea to actually making something so damn over the top.
  8. I'm ridiculously excited about seeing them again, but the timing is killing me. I have to go to the airport from work tomorrow afternoon, fly down, catch a few hours sleep at my daughter's place & then she and I will be at the stadium about 0800. I have to be back at the airport at 0630 the morning after the concert to get a flight back here to go to work because I've got a teaching commitment & a meeting I can't get out of. I will undoubtedly be braindead and useless.

But it'll totally be worth it.

PS. If you're coming, bring your raingear. Thunderstorms are forecast. Also I hear people are wearing red for World AIDS Day.

  9. Agree with Aidan. Looks like an awesome stadium. Hope everyone coin has fun!!!

It'll be worth every minute of it. Still looking forward to catching up with some of you as well.
