    i prefer the original version......it has a lot more than the new edited version......i wonder if they tinkered with bad would that be shortened to 4 mins too?
  2. So I called the big record store here in West Lafayette, Indiana, when I got back to school after my Thanksgiving break. I asked the guy if any record-store-day releases were left over from the weekend. He said "Yeah, uh, we got a few, why, whatcha lookin for?" I didn't even get out "U2, Wide Awake in-" before he started cracking up.

    "[laughter] Dude...[laughter]...those were on the shelf for like 30 seconds. Not a chance."

    So I'm like, well, fuck.

    I wander into this measly little shop after my class on a whim that they got any- they're more of an emo/underground punk type of fanbase store, but I walked up into the vinyl section, and sure enough, for only $9.99 US Dollars, there was a single remaining copy of WAIE. No. 2485.

    I have been walking on sunshine, my head in the clouds, ever since. I can't stop staring at it.

  9. I don`t really know what would make number 1 any more rare than numbers 2-6000 (or whatever the highest number is). Just because it was the first one to get stamped doesn`t make it any rarer in my eyes. If the other ones are going for 100-200 bucks on the bay right now (I think they`ll eventually go way higher) than number 1 should only be going for 100-200 bucks right now too.
