1. Yeah, replace Arsenal - Fulham with Blackburn - Wolverhampton.

  2. No not replace but I thougt Remy meant that he didnt found enough matches, so I think maybe we should make it a bit harder with one match which is harder to predict.
  3. Wow Barca
I knew they were very strong and everyone thinks they're not human, but this réally seems like they're coming from another planet. Stunning.

Another bad prediction round for me btw

Anyone want to bet who's gonna get the WC 2018 ?
    Belgium/Holland
    Portugal/Spain
    England
    Russia
  4. Suggestions for next week's prediction league:

    Lazio - Internazionale
    Real Madrid - Valencia
Manchester City - Bolton Wanderers (Unattractive maybe, but 3 points separate them towards the top)
    FC Basel - Young Boys
    Liverpool - Aston Villa

    More suggestions welcome...

Doubt it'll be Belgium/Holland, they had Euro 2000 after all. But it's not based on who's turn it is at the end of the day is it? I don't think they'll go for Belgium/Holland or England, so it'll be between Portugal/Spain and Russia.
  5. Schalke 04 - Bayern München
    Arsenal - Fulham
    Real Madrid - Valencia
    Lazio - Internazionale
    Manchester City - Bolton Wanderers
    Liverpool - Aston Villa

Maybe we could do these matches, I dont know if anyone knows anything about Basel or Young Boys so I doubt that will be a good choice.

I think the WC will go to Russia, they got the most money and as we al know Blatter and the Fifa only care about money

I'd maybe drop one of the English games from those six, predicting three Premier League fixtures is a bit of overkill.
  7. Yeah maybe drop Aston Villa - Liverpool? Not really ranked high in the league.
All matches except that one? Anyone having objections?

We had, but Portugal had the EC in 2004 and England in 1996 so if that counts they're already out too...
And Spain and England had the WC before, Russia and Belgium/Holland hadn't
Plus England already has the Olympic games in 2012

England has by far the best accomodation and i read the most money too (not Russia)
BUT there's this fraude-issue going on now

Spain/Portugal have good infrastructure too and have the world champion
BUT they're quite unstable because of the crisis and would have the least profit because of that

Russia seems to be nr.1 candidate for the bookies and it would be it's first EC/WC
BUT distances to travel between two games would be too big

Belgium/Holland have a central position in Europe, promise to hold the greenest WC ever and it's compact enough for teams to remain in 1 hotel for the whole event...
BUT we don't have very good infrastructure and the public/politicians don't seem to like the idea

So euhm, i really have no idea who's it gonna be actually
I think i'll go with England (but hope for Belgium, sorry)

Matches for next week are ok with me if you drop 1 premier league match

    True, True.

    From Sky Sports:

    ENGLAND
What Fifa says: Overall evaluation is Low Risk
Plus points: Transport, stadia, IT, security, marketing, legacy
Negative points: Too few venue-specific training sites or venue-specific team hotels, too few training base camp hotels

    RUSSIA
What Fifa says: Overall evaluation is Medium Risk
Plus points: 13 planned new stadia, hotels, legacy
Negative points: Huge transport challenge and major building programme needed

    SPAIN & PORTUGAL
What Fifa says: Overall evaluation is Low Risk
Plus points: Stadia, transport, hotels, legacy
Negative points: Lack of clear security plan, co-hosting "a challenge"

    BELGIUM & NETHERLANDS
What Fifa says: Overall evaluation is Medium Risk
    Plus points: Stadia, legacy
Negative points: Too few hotel rooms, co-hosting "a challenge", lack of government guarantees
