1. It's amazing, eh? Definitely one contender for best album of the year, in my opinion. You should check out The Black Parade as well. Great album.

You should see them live. I believe they are playing in Chicago sometime in April or May. I saw them last month and it was absoutely epic.

Meanwhile, I'm listening to Bulletproof Heart by My Chemical Romance
  2. Kieran, we had some words before your MCR show but you didn't get back to me after it! Tell me, what did they play? Did they lack some energy or "quality" live as I thought they would, or were you satisfied?

    Oh yeah, sorry about that!

They played: Na Na Na, Thank You For The Venom, Dead, Cemetery Drive, Give Em Hell Kid, Our Lady of Sorrows, Planetary, Welcome to the Black Parade, Helena, I'm Not Okay, You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison, The Ghost Of You, The Only Hope For Me Is You, Destroya, Teenagers, Sleep, Mama, I Don't Love You, Famous Last Words, Cancer and The Kids from Yesterday

They did lack alot of energy. Frank Iero (2nd guitarist) usually goes mental on-stage but was really mellow in this show. Gerard was less energetic than usual but Ray (guitarist) was his usual self. They did do 2 shows in the 2 previous nights in London and Manchester which maybe tired them out because they aren't used to doing shows in consecutive nights. I still think the quality was there though. The songs were done almost perfectively, there's no doubt about that. Gerard declared Teenagers at the concert as "the best Teenagers that they had ever done". There was some technical faults with the microphones. Don't know if that was a fault on behalf on the venue or My Chemical Romance themselves. Gerard's mic during the first few songs was quiet. Ray's was quiet the whole show. But for those first few songs, the crowd just carried them through it. Best song of the night would go to Na Na Na, in my opinion. Everyone was going mental! Overall, I was very satisfied with it. Best indoor show I've ever been to. There was a couple of downsides but they had nothing to do with the performance. I'll (hopefully) be seeing them again in February in Glasgow!
  4. Glad you had a good time! I'll check some of those new tunes out soon, and maybe some footage of your show - specially Na Na Na and FLWords, my fav. Thanks
  5. Yeah they're playing a show in April in Chicago, but the tickets are just at the limit where I'm not sure it's what I'd spend to see them. I really, really do love the new album though- only reason I'd go to the show at all would be to see the new ones played. Maybe Black Parade, Helena, and Teenagers, too. I'm just a radio fan aside from the new one.
