  1. Hi all! New to the site and I'm dying to get a sounboard/studio version of "Winter" and Mercy." Anyone know where I can get those? I know the song "Winter" is from the movie Brothers, but it was never released. And Mercy was just recently released on the "Wide Awake in Europe" vinyl EP. But can anyone tell me where I can find these on MP3??? Thank you all soooooo much!
  2. In general we only have bootlegs of live performances. Winter was never played live and therefore we dont have it.

    Also we dont offer officially released material, so we dont have that specific Mercy available. We do have some very good recordings from other live performances.

    Just have a look the show pages, Mercy was played in 2010-09-18 - Paris, France - Stade de France, 2010-09-15 - Munich, Germany - Olympiastadion and a few other shows.

    I guess you're not just new to the site, but also new to U2?
    "I know the song Winter is from the movie Brothers": say what? A second mix of Winter was used for the film, yes. But the song itself was already known to fans by then. Because it was released on the dvd Linear that accompanied the album NLOTH in its deluxe-format.

    And the studio version of Mercy is yeeeeeears old. Loads and loads of discussions on the net (not just this site) comparing that studio version to the versions played during leg 3.

    So I suggest you get the NLOTH deluxe-edition, the U2 Rare & Unreleased, and various dates of U2360 leg 3. Simple as that.
