  4. This leg for sure. Maybe in the whole 2010 too. But not the biggest of the tour, Chicago, Barcelona and Paris were over 95.000.
  5. Paris was also featured this year. But its definitely a big one
  6. Mexico will probably be the biggest of the tour
  7. We're here! There are 2 GA lines, one at Gate F and one at Gate J/K where I am. There are about 80 people here and about twice that over the other side. I'm number 42 in a red rolling stone tshirt if anyone wants to come by and say hello.


  8. F***, three nights in a 105,000 seated capacity... That would mean... 130,000 a night ? 400,000 people in three days, that would be just AWESOME. But these two nights in Sydney might bring about 200,000, that's quite enormous too.
  9. 200.000 people in Sydney means a 1% of the whole population of Australia, and a 5.5% of the Sydney population. Amazing

    Take a look at the sellout chart about 75% the way down the page. If you take the "Tickets sold" column and divide it by the number of nights they played at the venue, you have the breakdown for the biggest attendances.

    Doing a rough glance, the Rose Bowl show tops the list easily with a one-night attendance of 97,014. The other ones that come close....

    93,272 at Stade de France, two nights in a row
    91,027 at Camp Nou, two nights in a row
    82,122 at Wembley, two nights in a row

    I remember Chicago's reported number at being around 72,000 people for both nights, but according to Wikipedia's sellout chart, if you split the total tickets for the venue sold between two nights, it only comes out to 67,936 a night.

    Interesting stuff, but yes, Mexico will be the biggest crowd they play to.
