  1. That's the eternal debate casual/harcore fans. Casual fans (that have the right to go to see U2 after all) are expecting them to play their hits, i.e SBS, Pride, Beautiful Day, Stuck, Vertigo, WOWY, NYD... Hardcore fans are expecting some rare stuff : LNOE, Mofo, Zooropa, Acrobat... And I think this tour they've found a good balance between the two options, playing new songs, bringing back stuff like UV, TUF, Batman... Of course, for us U2starters it's not enough. But people going to shows, casual fans or not by the way, always enjoy the classics.

    Nice to meet you too! If we leave the set for now, the thing that probably bothers us both the most is that U2 never tour in Czech Republic... only the one time in 1997 and since then nothing, I was really hoping for a 2009 show as there were some rumours

    btw i just wanna note that im not some buzzkill just from time to time when i realize that they ignore some albums it makes me sad, but this is ofc a great tour - unreleased stuff, mercy, batman and so on, many great shows like helsinki 2, its cool but maybe needs some more juice again
  3. Great great show last night. We were given a copy of the original setlist last night and Ultraviolet was on it. It looked to us (on the front rail) that there was a last minute setlist change because Phil came and changed the one that he'd already taped down.

    I'm still sad they didn't do Love Rescue Me after soundchecking it so extensively yesterday.
  4. Been the whole day out, and I find myself shocked by Bad staying on the set, and by Love Rescue Me being rehearsed - is that real!??!!?

  7. I think if they will play it, it would be in the middle session; 10th and 11th position.

    I hope they will change the 2 songs after those too, im a bit fed up with IALW and Miss Sarajevo.


  8. Where "Stuck" was for Sydney 1. Probably swap out "Bad" for "Mercy" as well. Add that to Batman swapping for UV and you've got yourself Sydney 2's set.

    Europe 1 or 2?

    Europe 1 they played it a couple of times, Europe 2 they didn't

    You are wrong. Desire was played second night of the tour and again in Dublin. That's only off the top of my head though.
