    It is shameful that there is only 50 members in this group.

    I know it was released, but that was only on iTunes and it's now completely impossible to buy it legally now since they deleted The Complete U2 digital box set. They should release it as a 2CD/1DVD package, and a 8 CD/1 DVD package that features all the Point Depot concerts for the hardcore fans.

    The DVD is not widely circulating since that only the first two songs were broadcasted.


  8. Where's the point of releasing some of U2's greatest concerts of all time officially with possible greater sound quality? I've got no idea.


  9. You won't really get better sound than the broadcast. And the existence of a complete release worthy Proshot is highly unlikely. That's why I'm asking.

    They do need to re-mix some of the other Point Depot concerts. Why would the existence of the rest of the concert on video be highly unlikely? Do you really think that the cameramen (and possibly camerawomen) put away their cameras after I Will Follow? No. I'm sure they knew that this was an important/special concert being New Year's and all.

    Television crews were/are usually allowed to film 3-5 songs. So yes, I think they stopped filming. It's not so much a question of knowing about how important a gig might be but a question of copyright and filming rights.
    If you're talking about the previous nights, I'd agree that the sound could benefit from a post production since these are rather raw board recordings
