    Yes.

Television crews were/are usually allowed to film 3-5 songs. So yes, I think they stopped filming. It's not so much a question of knowing about how important a gig might be but a question of copyright and filming rights.

I know it's definitely possible that that may have happened, but was that TV episode thing strictly U2 only or did they have to leave room for other bands?

The show was just your standard chat show. U2 closed it. My hunch says the cameras stopped rolling.

  4. Maybe the camera crew were only on shift to 12:30 and didn't really like U2. And as yeah said it is very common to see pro-shot footage of the first 2 or 3 songs of a gig. The footage is normally used by local news channels on their report of the gig. There are many reasons as to why the ig might not have been fully filmed. Either way though, I don't think we will ever see the footage.

  5. This is what bothers me, because it's such an important moment in U2 career, last Rotterdam LoveTown concert was more important but I don't know if that was even recorded or is in good enough quality.

Neither wouldn't sell in terribly high volumes. Better chance of another Vertigo or 360 gig being released.

  7. It doesn't matter how much it sells, it would still be an important/essential release. And I think the highest selling concert film is Vertigo 2005: Live From Chicago.

Another Vertigo Tour DVD is completely unnecessary but another 360 Tour DVD would be nice to own if they release a South American concert because the setlist would have changed considerably from the Rose Bowl. But it's nowhere near as important as releasing the Point Depot New Year's concert on DVD.
  8. I would like the iTunes version of this as well. I downloaded the bootleg but it doesn't match up tracklist wise with iTunes.
  9. i joined and posted the link on T.U.B.E. 's facebook .. maybe there will be a few more members

  10. I would prefer it to be on a real CD and on a real DVD than on iTunes again.
