1. Quite the fantastic NS indeed.
  2. If I was Desire, I'd sue the band for torturing me so badly.
Bono sounds more confident on Love rescue me - good thing. Even if it wasn't the full song.

  3. If I was any song from Pop, I'd sue the band for torturing me so badly. I mean, how can they play on a massive stage like that and play no songs from this album. (Except for the Crazy Tonight/Discotheque mashup.)
  4. Desire is a perfect oppurtunity to rock out. Simple to play. The band just seem to want to be leisurely mid set. Just turn up the pace and do a simple song some justice and give us more rock at the same time.

    Agree
  6. I just returned from a short holiday (oh my, flying in Europe isn't really great these days ) and missed all the Australia fun. Great to see the Perth setlist, especially night 2 seems to have been special Beautiful version of North Star, indeed, and good to see so much love for these rare Rattle and Hum songs.
  7. yea but 2011 will bring a new album and some new songs to mix the set up even more with mercy or north star hopefully becomming regulars in the set.
  8. Yes, a new album................
  9. It is happening exactly like the 4 years prior to the release of NLOTH, much talk about 3,4 albums, all absolutely great and daring, Danger Mouse, David Guetta, bla bla bla.

It's always the same shit and nothing happens, we might get a best of again with 2 new songs and that's it. It makes me angry because they talk too much, If they didn't say anything until the album is actually made and ready to sell, I would be glad.

They have 3,4 albums in the making( as they say LOL) and yet they didn't record North Star and Mercy in the studio, according to that Bono interview in Australia, I mean WTF?

Apart from that, this tour is awesome, I've been to the first night in Coimbra and It was maybe, the greatest 2 hours of my life =D
  10. Just read that Bono said during an Australian concert he knows he can be a "pain in the ass".
    Is that true ?
(I don't know which Australian concert so sorry if it didn't happen in Perth... Could be Brisbane or Sydney too)

Yeah, he did. It's not anything new, he's said it before. Bono can be annoying at times, but no one could ever say he's not self-aware.
