1. Finally got around to picking up "Youth and Young Manhood" today...I downloaded it ages ago, but I finally have all of KOL's albums on hard copy. They always have very nice packaging IMO.
  2. "Mi Amigo" subbed for "Arizona" tonight; the former getting its live debut
  3. Listened to the Dublin show. I thought the band sounded fairly average. Recording isn't a stunner but still allows a judgement on the performance. Not a patch on shows i've heard from the last tour.
  4. You know, I have to hand it to them Ger. That's not the best song, and the setlist could be better, but we always bicker about how U2 was supporting NLOTH and not playing enough songs from it, mainly on the second leg with ATYCLB started getting more play. I'd love for them to play the majoirty of the set from Aha Shake and BOTT, but the tour isn't even close to over and there's only 3 songs on the album that haven't seen the light of day yet. They're experimenting with the new stuff and I don't have a problem with that at all.

I wish they'd play a half hour longer, because they absolutely can...I don't know if they think people don't want to hear them for longer than 1.5 hours or what...but that's really where the problem lies.
  5. Taper Jean Girl makes a return last night, the band subs out "The End" from the middle of the main set, TJG slots in 4th. Radioactive is also moved to the middle of the set, where it was played for most of the 2009/2010 tour before CAS was released.
  6. O2 gig cancelled. Both tour buses completely destroyed by fire at the venue car park.

'ohohoh this bus is on fire'
  7. Waayyyyyy

  8. Was LITERALLY logging on *solely* to post the exact same "bus is on fire" line, Ger. Way to go.

    Shame though.
  9. That made me laugh out loud.

Anyway, both tour buses have been destroyed but... Why the hell can't they play the feckin show? Were the instruments and sound equipment on the buses or what?

There was some gear in there that is required for the full rig. They didn't say what though. Possibly the guitarist?
  11. Well, all gear (possibly not guitars, though) can be re-bought... Oh anyway, I don't really give a damn. I'm only sorry for the 10k concert-goers.
