1. Think he meant Bono
  2. I can never get sarcasm in writing
  3. got them al ...read them all ...Love them all
  4. I'm also a huge Harry Potter fan. Started reading them when i was 8 and was hooked after the first book. I love them all but the last 4 in particular are really outstanding. The story never really gets old for me.

That said the movies had been kind of disappointing, really only truly liked Azkaban and Goblet. Deathly Hallows Part I was outstanding though, really excited for the second part to come out and in retrospect really happy they decided to split the final movie into two parts...the books will always blow the movies out of the water though. So many small brilliant elements of the stories that can't be recreated on screen in 2.5 hours
  5. That's the never-ending story, Brian, it happens all the time: movies can't simply do justice to the books...
I strongly dislike all the movies up to the 5th (a masterpiece, when compared to the first 3), the acting work is very poor and the scripts are too childish. The Globbet of Fire wasn't so bad, and the Phoenix Order is a masterpiece (in Harry Potter- terms).
    I haven't seen the 6th and 7ths yet.

  6. Death Hallows is the best of all, just can't wait to see the second part. Why didn't they split the 4th film into two parts
I love The Prisoner of Azcaban as well, I think Alfonso Cuaron did a great job in film directing,
and music was very good to me, love the moment with gipogriff flying over the lake

When the first film hit cinema in my town I just turned 12, so it was magic all around my birthday, and what a great day I had!

I've got only two books (6th, 7th) but read all of them, JK.Rowling is the original of the species really
I heard that she wants to come back to Potteriana.

  7. It was a series I got bored of. I read the first 5 books then couldn't be bothered anymore. I watched the first 3 movies, then couldn't be bothered watching the rest. I know it's a good series and I should really read & watch all of it.

J.K. Rowling is a genius. It's good to be from the city where she wrote the first Harry Potter book. She wrote The Philosopher's Stone in one cafe called The Elephant House. I also have friends who have relatives that lived next to her back in the day or near her in recent times.
  8. Never read the books, im not really the reading type, but i enjoy the movies. Once that Warner Brothers logo comes out of the shadows u know ur in for a great 2 hours.

and 2300 pages in 10 days is quiet an achievement, 230 pages a day. didnt ur eyes get sore?
  9. It was actually less than 10 days because there were Xmas and the New Year's eve in between, so actually 7 or 8 days.
Anyway I can read very fast since I was a small child, I learnt to read at 3½ years
  10. I did mean Bono. No I wasn't being sarcastic, I really ment it. If you look at her history she has done probably more work for Anmesty(think that's how spelt) International than even U2 heve. They are an organisation that have my full support.

It was ME being sarcastic, man, I was just joking with your Commander in Chief expression, nothing offensive and nothing to care about. I know JK Rowling has done (and is doing) strong political and social campaigns, and I love and support it too.
