1. Heey guys,

Its been a long time I posted something here, I decided to start over again
New year, more music and more passion.

Im a beginner guitar player, Im just learning the basics right know, I have a little question about pedals and stuff, I own the boss dd3 pedal and I am the owner of the G2NU

Has anyone any experience with that thing, I got it from uncle but I don't know what to do with it yet. Any suggestions?
  2. People, how do you call this hexagonal pieces?

    Is it called nut??

I need to buy one of them in order to tie the jack of my acoustic guitar, and I don't know how it's called in English and most importantly where to find them. Thanks!

EDIT. This is in fact the one I need:
  3. I'd personally call that a nut
  4. Yup Sergio, that's a flat nut.

And to refresh the question above yours, I actually don't know anything or have even seen that pedal you posted a picture of- but wait for our friend Jeff to find the topic again, he can usually be of some great help.

You might also try searching the Guitar Center website for the pedal to see what it does, or even the manufacturers website for a possible manual if you don't even have a clue how to use it.
  5. Or search the pedal on YouTube, found out a lot about mine that way

I don't actually know much on the G2NU. I'd say sell it, save a bit more money and buy a Line6 HD 500.

If you bought the G2Nu in the last 30 days from Guitar Center (some other dealers are decent too) you might be able to return it to the store for full price.

If that isn't in the cards, sell the G2nu and Boss pedal. Then buy the Line 6 HD 500.

Line 6 M13 is great too but as the M13 are HD 500 are the same prices and the HD 500 does more... I'd vote for the HD 500.

One can get a lot of great guitars tones / a lot of Edgelike tones for $500.
  7. Just bought a rickenbacker 330 6 string Got a great price for it on the bay, on it's way here now. I'll post some pictures and general thoughts once it gets here!

That. Is. Sexy. Always loved Rickenbackers. Brilliant buy
  11. Thanks guys! I know most U2 fans tend to gravitate towards the 12-string Ricky's, but I'm not a huge fan of 12 strings for a few reasons.

A), I know most people don't, but I find it annoying, NOT hard, annoying, going back and forth between 12 and 6 strings. It gets to be a pain readjusting my playing style everytime I switch guitars.

    B) Re-stringing. Need I say more? HUGE pain in the ass, especially on a ricky.

    C) I can do more on a 6 string than I can on a 12 string. I feel like 12 strings aren't very versatile, in that they're mostly using for chords or arpeggios. You can't really solo or riff that much, and when you do, it's a bit difficult, at least more difficult than it is on a 6 string.

I know no one asked me this question, but I just thought I'd let some people know why I didn't go FULL Edge on this purchase
