1. I was just inspecting my seats for the upcoming shows I'm attending this year, and I couldn't help but notice it appears I might be sitting in line with one of the legs of the claw. Is it possible to have a crappy view at this show? The only show I went to I had a perfect view from the side, and this time I'm kind of diagonal to it. I'm in section 105 row 45 at the montreal show, and I'm worried I'm going to have a crappy view! Here are hte seating charts so you can see why I'm a bit freaked.

  2. My dad and 2 friends sat behind a leg in Amsterdam.
They weren't happy in the beginning, but when the show started they realised they weren't missing that much, the screens are still very visible and you'll still see the guys a lot of times.

I'll look for a picture to give you a better idea of the view.
  3. Here are 2 Judge yourself. I hope it helps

  4. It's mostly Larry who you'll miss (and only in a very specific number of seats), the other 3 move around plenty of times and are hardly static, so... Enjoy the show

K cool. Just what I wanted to hear. I think that's the only fault of the show, and funnily enough i've NEVER heard any of the U2 crew, the band, Paul, or anyone, acknowledge it. But maybe that's because, like you said, it's a very specfic amount of seats that only just miss a bit. Thanks!
  6. Sat pretty high up and far away for Dublin II and found myself looking at the screen more than anything anyway. You'll have a great time, don't worry.
  7. Lookin at those pics as awesome as they are, that's the reason I'll never do sitting at a U2 gig.

    It just don't seem right!
  8. Thanks for the reassurance Jeremy! Good to know.

And Gibbo, who says people in the stands sit? I didn't sit once at the Toronto show 2 years ago! (hard to believe that was all the way back in 2009) But I can see what you mean. I'm in the stands because I'm going with my parents and they prefer the stands. I think I do too, even though I'm a tall guy and I'd be able to ee over most of the people in GA , I prefer always being able to have a great view, not only of the band, but of the claw itself.
  9. I'd sit at 9/10 shows if I was guaranteed good sound. No such chance though.

  10. I had great sound at the Toronto show. But I have heard about people having sound quality issues.

  11. Where were you for Dublin 3? Or was it 2? Anyway, how was the sound?
