1. Hi Everyone. Sorry if this has been discussed before and please feel free to move it if it has but has anyone had copies of WAIE turn up damaged. The type of damage im reffering to seems to be that the heavyweight vinyl has ripped through the frai inner sleeve and as a result has caused curved indentations / ripps and more to the spine(s) of the outer cover. If so please let me know here. I dont know if we i / we can do anything though
  2. My copy has the same damage
  3. From what i gather the release was not supplied in a shrinkwrap so i would imagine we are not the only ones with this problem, can anyone else confirm
  4. I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight doesn't work correctly on my version.

  5. here is my "proof" I ordered 3 copies ...
one is all ok ... one has small hole, and one has huge tear ....
also innersleeves are damaged ..... machine has dropped the records too hard in the sleeves ...

i think this is very unprofessional ! especially with their socalled excuse they came up with for the extra numbers over 5000 .... yes we damaged some sleeves .... sure you did ... when you filled up the sleeves .... bad ... very very bad ....

and my copy also skips for i'll go crazy .... that is even worse than the sleeve .....

I actually gave the undamaged copy to my mate ... I prefered the both damaged 1342 and 5784 over the undamaged nr 1348 ..... I am gonna play my vinyl anyway ....

  6. It's nice to know im not the only one who has damaged to my copies. i doubt there is much we can do as i would imagine we all sourced from different locations. I wont bad mouth suppliers here but if people want to send me a message with there supplier i will gladly conctct them for us. In the meantime anyone thinking of buying from ebay etc CHECK THE CONDITION!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. And you suckers actually bought this.

  8. I don't think that people should have bought the 7" because the people who bought it would already have the recordings on their computer (but except for Crazy Tonight they would have been audience recordings) and a lot of U2 fans seem to not own a record player.

And it makes no sense to release vinyl exclusive stuff because vinyl is simply ridiculous, despite what some people say. Music on vinyl often "skips", you can accidentally play the music at the wrong speed (although that can be quite humorous) and it's very hard to rip music on vinyl to your computer (although not impossible to do this, but it must be hard to do it well. When my father ripped music from rare Prince 12" vinyls, the sound mix was ruined)

  9. Maybe that's the point?

Honestly, you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.
That's not a bad thing, it only reveals who's the sucker.
