1. Yes, he writes "audiophile" like it was an unforgivable sin or whatever... "Confess!!! Are you one of those so-called audiophiles!??!?!"... Oh dear

    Craving for answers.

Just like every other thread that goes somewhere totally unexpected.

    A mysterious 7''? Wow - what have I missed?

''Forgive me, for I have sinned.''
''What can I forgive you for, my friend?''
''I...I am an audiophile. I am sorry.''
''You sinner!!! Ye shall be sent straight to hell with non-audiophiles. To hell with you!!!''
    ''I'm sorry.....!!!!''
  3. Yeah, I mean, just in case you guys were wondering, I turned into a big ol' bastard.

  4. "Constructive" meaning that she actually added something to the conversation, not "you suckers actually bought this?!"

    Please let this topic die.
  5. ok ... my pictures were on topic ....

but bob ruined it all .....

I wont try to convince him ...
even if I am a musician, who produces vinyl, still !!! and who has been in many mastering studio's to make sure my music was transered onto vinyl the way it was supposed to be ...

any album can come out distorted, but that is not due to the medium, but to the cutting engineer and the mastering technician .... but hey ....

    I will stop here ....
let mr bob do the rest of the talking ....

and yes, I think you are an idiot with a probable shortage of attention ....
  6. Jesus.. Shit really hit the fan in here
  7. dont spend too much time posting but do enjoy all the reading but this torrent of sh*t about vinyl has really got my goat, i have been collecting U2 vinyl since 1981, although i have almost everything on vinyl the the exception on a few very hard to come by 7" cd mp3 flac dvd lock stock the bloody lot anything with the name U2 on it, vinyl for me will always be KING. mp3 or digital might float some of the younger members of the U2 family but having some very tangable to hold and feel is what vinyl is all about, i remember the early days waiting in the rain for the record store to open to grab the latest release burst it open and listen to it until the record played no more, no real biggy just bought another.

i dont see the thrill of downloading tunes without having the original in hand. starting to waffle on a bit, but as said before VINYL IS NUMBER 1 and always will be.

by the way still dont have my copy of WAIE, anyone who has a spare give me a shout, i will now need to post a pic of my collection.

should piss the wife of big time.
  8. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, this discussion is over. If anyone wishes to keep on with it (we hope not), he/she can do it at the Technology Topic, thanks

I said more than that. Get over that suckers comment and don't take it personally.
  10. I think "please let this topic die" has been the pivotal and key line in the past 5 or so important posts.
