  6. Just listened to Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band all the way through..for the first time .

    Top 10 album for sure. Now the roommate is playing Disturbed (Perfect Insanity to be specific)

    Nah, seriously, that album is some really amazing shit. We have it in vinyl, cassete and CD and I love to play it back and forward and back and forward. Never get tired of it. I once played it on acoustic guitar, from the start to the end

    I was going to listen to it on vinyl, but I wanted the better quality so I chose the CD instead. I don't like feeling to my music, I prefer complete compressed digital transfers.

    But yes, I finally bought the remaster today. The 2009 Remaster catalog that was released improves the mixes on the old songs ten-fold, every album is really worth it. Completely noticeable on Sgt. Pepper. Never had the full album, but obviously I had key songs, and they all sound crystal clear on the remasters. Not just bumped up louder.

    Yes, the remasters were truly awesome, specially considering that some of these songs were almost 50 years old! I specially like the to-front treatment they gave to the drums, and particullary on the pre-65 tracks. I wish I had the money to buy the remasters physically though
