I’ve been there too (only a few days), but I don’t have great memories of it cause we had a car accident (nothing serious, just pretty scary), we went to an island called krk, beautiful but so hot!

Indeed, the south is really nice, especially down towards Cornwall. Some great cities and some great arcitecture all over the country. Not sure I'd agree about the peopleDepends where you visit lol
I would love to see Cornwall and Devon, I went to Kent and Sussex which was also great + the scones you can eat at a tearoom are delicious!
