Ok, fair enough. My point being that I didnt get my info from Pimm's book in this case.

I will say though Pimm's book is one of the best U2 books there is though and I obviously own a copy.

I was pretty sure that the book wasn't your source. It's very good but of course it can't be complete. And considering the fact that you seem to know quite a few people in the taping/trading community you seem to have more/better sources than Pimm had.
  3. Hey, Blue and Yeah, stop with it. I only asked HOW could you know the soundchecked songs if there is no available recording of it. And Pimm's book can give many answers, though it's not complete (Pimm died almost 4 years ago, if I remember well, and many recordings have surfaced since 2003).

Thank you both. Your amount of U2-knowledge is Awesome.

Yes, but you were having a discussion UNDER my risponsability. It was because of me, so I was guilty for your discussion.
Anyway, Relax yourself too and we all could have the party in peace...

  8. This is much better than the original version I had from Torrents about 18 months ago. Older version was muddy...........this is crystal clear

    Thanks so much

    Cheers

I have to agree. When I got it in 2005, I didn't have the right ears to appreciate it. It sounded cold in my *old* opinion. But last week (due to a backup for my computer) I re-listened to it, and all I have to say now is...

In fact it's one of the best sounding bootlegs ever. ... Such a shame Bono didn't have the right voice that night...

    Hi :-)

well, this satellite feed is a *new* source and is indeed *much* better than the old source.

This version is captured from the signal *before* broacasting.

And you are right, Bonos voice unfortunately is not in best conditions.

That always hurts me, especially in the 97 Sarajevo gig.
