  5. What I meant before is that there's some legends and fake stories about the Stay video. Some people say that Bono actually climbed to the statue, and some say not.

    That photo is said to have been take months after the video was shot; lots of people said that Bono wasn't giving a good example on that statue at 80mts high, and Universal lied saying "No, he wasn't that high, it was a fake statue", and then they built that miniature and took&spread the at photo.

    Does anybody know the truth about the Stay videoclip?

    I wouldn't be surprised if he really did climb the statue.
  7. There's a lot of work in that pic for it just being put together to fuel a hoax. Looks like it's from a real shoot to me.

    Either way it's still the best single release by the band. Great song, great video, great b-sides and great packaging.

    I heartfully agree on the Stay single valoration. Best B-sides, best lead song and best packaging off all U2 singles ever.

  10. Bono used the angle prop from the film to stand on ,,,He never climed the real angle. see the commentry on the 1990 2000 dvd ,,wim wenders explanes it as he shot the video stay.


  12. Blown right up, it looks like Bono was shopped into the photo. There's something off about his outline in comparison to the outlines of the other objects in the shot.
