1. looking for opinions on the bootlegs that have the best audience involvement?
with things like the loudest/best sing-a-longs and generally just the loudest, most energetic crowds that have been recorded?

ones i think have these qualities would be any of the south american popmart shows, which i have, and the leeds popmart show too.

i have also found milan from 2009 to be great, along with some of the wembley gigs from the 360 tour..

are there any others out there that you would recommend?

    p.s. - could they please be a decent recording, e.g. 4 star +?

    many thanks
  2. cardiff 360 tour is a good loud crowd.
  3. 1992-03-17 Boston. Loud crowd on St. Patrick's Day.
  4. All you need is Milano 1992-05-22. They sing along to virtually every song on the concert (including The Fly, Ultraviolet, etc), the recording is fantastic, the performance is astonishing... All you need is there. Don't forget to check how they drown out Edge's vocals on the chorus (Looove, we'll shine like a burning star)...

  7. Jesus, how can you not have heard it
  8. it sounds like milan 92 is generally thought to be THE crowd to measure all others against?
are there any others that even come close to it?
  9. I was part of that crowd

Well, not quite "close" (that crowd is aboslutely insane, they're not only loud, but participative, enthusiastic and well tuned) but Brussels 87, Stockholm 92 and of course Sarajevo 97 are good examples of great crowds too. More recent examples include Slane 01, Cardiff 09 and Rome 10, although I must be honest: one can't find those old enthusiastic crowds anymore
