  3. True. For me, it's the best example of audience in a U2 bootleg.

Milan 1992 sounds a bit unnatural to me...

Milan 09 is very very echoey. Helps with the crowd noise.

Milan 92 is nearly 20 years old. Sounds well.
  5. To be honest, I love the Milano 09 bootleg but I don't think the audience is captured as it was: that bootleg suffers from a lot of echo, which probably magnifies (or at least 'changes') the crowd noise a bit / a lot. Someone said it a while ago (it was Yeah I think) and I agree. The show and crowd were great for sure, and the bootleg sounds very good, but I don't think the audience is captured realisticly.

EDIT. I answered before reading Gerard's post

  6. It's because of the acoustics of the stadium. I was at that show and bootleg doesn't even come close to that vulcano eruption that was going on on the stadium.

I was on the floor, some of my friends were on the upper rows and they told me that from time to time they even couldn't hear Bono because crowd was so loud.
  7. in any case here in Milan we always do a great job down the stage

As with many gigs. Sometimes everything just comes together for the taper and they capture it like Milan 09.
