Ah yeh, the one I read had the second and third ones wrong, cheers man
  3. I wrote them myself! I love writing tabs

EDIT: a really proffessional notation would be writing (12) to mark it's an harmonic, but you obviously did know they were harmonics so who cares?
  4. It will be interesting to see and hear which of the pedals on the picture Edge tweeted in November 2009 will make the album and that might be added to the touring rig.

    TOP row L-R:
Boss Fender Bassman pedal (TO BE CONFIRMED)
Cyber Psychic - parametric oscillo filter
Moog Moogerfooger Murf- Multiple Resonance Filter Array
Moog Moogerfooger MF 102 - Ring Modulator
    Electro-Harmonix Holier Grail - Reverb

PEDAL BELOW the Boss Fender Bassman & Cyber Psychic:
MXR Custom Audio Electronics Boost / Overdrive

    BOTTOM row L-R:
    Electro-Harmonix POG
    MXR DynaComp
    Digitech SynthWah
    Ampeg Scrambler
    Digitech WH-1 Whammy

The pedalboard pictured above seems to have some of the same items that were seen on a similar pedalboard during the NLOTH sessions. In fact, as the screencap (below)doesn't show the whole board, it may have all of the same pedals.

NLOTH Sessions (screen cap from U2.com video)

Row 1 is the row closest to Edge.
Row 2 farther away from Edge. Pedals are listed from Left to Right.

    Row 1 (L-R):
    Digitech Synth Wah
    Ampeg Scrambler.
    Digitech WH-1 Whammy Pedal

    Row 2 (L-R):
Moog Moogerfooger MF 102 - Ring Modulator
    Electro-Harmonix "Holier Grail" [Reverb/Gate]

(The 3rd pedal/Far right/top of the pedalboard Appears to be an Electro-Harmonix "Electric Mistress" [flanger / filter matrix]. (Unconfirmed)
  5. Anyone know what he uses the Synth Wah for?
  6. Here's the video for the screencap above. Not sure fo the guitar. I talked to one of Daniel Lanois' assistants... he said it's a Gretsch. Although, the headstock looks like a Gibson to me. More research...

Ebow part being played seems to be from "Breathe".

  7. Wrote myself a 90 minute setlist of covers this morning- rock n' roll was a great way to start my morning. Played all the way straight through along with the songs on my iPod, and all I can say is that new callouses are such a joy.

    =O)

Good to get the calluses built up and play for hours.
  9. And now Edge has two blue ones...

Click the link and zoom in to get a closer view.
    U2 > FanCam

If you zoom in on The Edge's amps, you will notice that the main Vox (top) has two Vox Blue speakers now.

Used to be a Silver / Blue combination, like in the picture below.

Viewing from behind the amp, it used to have a silver on the left and a blue. (Pictured below) I guess the silver speaker went bad.

  10. Yeah saw that this morning. Pretty interesting to say the least.
  11. Anyone hear Capetown recording yet? Is it just me or does COBL sound like it's played in a higher key?
