1. A Sort Of Homecoming would be the torture song I'd listen to. Of course, Levitate (yes Sergio, I know...) would have to be on rotation there somewhere.
  2. Levitate???? I would never have guessed that!

  3. If it ain't got Levitate it's not worth it.

    Zooropa
    Spanish Eyes
    A Celebration
    A Day Without Me
    Love Comes Tumbling
North And South Of The River
Angels too Tied to the Ground
    I Fall Down
    Everlasting Love
    Dancing Barefoot
    So Cruel
    Mercy
    Hawkmoon 269
    The Three Sunrises
    Your Blue Room
If You Wear That Velvet Dress
    Yahweh
    The Wanderer (featuring Johnny Cash
    Levitate
    Smile
    Always
    Neon Lights
    Winter

Epic bump - and I took out what I thought I wouldn't have. Apart from that, it's all good.
  4. anyone here ever heard this version of the song?

All roads down the way too hard
    You're in the dream
    Oh don't take my heart
    Inside your inner stream
    Won't you take tomorrow, man
    As fond as you

All roads lead to where you are
All roads lead to where you are

Love don't need to find a way
    You'll find yourself astray
I forget that you're the sting
    Your time you'll tell myself

I can't lift you up again
    Love comes tumbling down again

Oh, don't feel you're on your soul
I don't look behind your heart
    Your heart is bittersweet

All roads lead to where you are
All roads lead to where you are
  5. My favourites:

    Spanish Eyes
    Luminous Times
Night And Day [The best rarity despite being a cover]
  6. Right now I'm in LOVE with the Mysterious Ways remixes, especially the Apollo and Tabla remixes. The Artificial Horizon disc has the Staring At The Sun mix and If God Will Send His Angels mix. Almost forgot the Fred Faulke mixes of Magnificent.
  7. Love Comes Tumbling
    Wave Of Sorrow (Birdland)
    Rise Up
    Electric Storm
    Silver And Gold

There is more good b-sides and rarities, but these one's make me think if they should be in a album instead of other songs..
  8. U2 have some great B-sides and rarities and I'm sure up in the vaults somewhere there's stuff like Bulldozer that the band so wanted to release but didn't in the end for whatever reason - yet with all the outtakes and B-sides they have, they could easily put out the four albums they want to and more after that. Enough to take the catalogue up to 25 albums.

With any forthcoming records, instead of shoving every C-grade remix they can on the singles or as bonus tracks, a genuine B-side wouldn't go astray. Even if it's a cover - spend half a day in a studio or at least find something worthy from the sessions they're not likely to ever use again and pop it on the single.

Remember Neon Lights from the Vertigo single? It wasn't anything to rush out for, but it was a B-side that wasn't remixed!!! How about even an epic live track like Kite on the Window In The Skies single or even the good Zoo Station live version? That was worth the price of the single alone.

    Amen.
I love their Neon Lights cover. I specifically searched for that particular single when I went looking for it in stores, not the others with the Jacknife Lee remixes.
