  1. Different Gear, Still Speeding was leaked yesterday on various torrent websites. After a first quick listen, the album sounds to me good, but not great. Anyone?

  3. On the subject of leaks, http://leaksallday.com/ is a really good resource for seeing the latest leaked albums. No download links, just announcements.
  4. The singles sounded like cheap Oasis sound without Noel, which makes it all worse... Not sure if I wanna listen to the full album.

    Most of the album sounds different than Oasis: 60's and 70's, a bit retro'. Some good songs, but it very much sounds a style excercise. And some not so good songs too. Well worth downloading, though. The good stuff is pretty good.

    Of course, U2 can do *a lot better*, I think. The question is: when!?!

    For me is still better then most of the new stuff coming out today

    The Roller sounded like a John Lennon rip-off with a Boston-esque solo thrown in. Ok, but nothing particularly amazing.
  12. Just listened to the album.

    For me it's pretty simple; Oasis had a composer (Noel) and a poser (Liam). Beady Eye lost Noel, so they're just left with a poser. And they're in desparate need of a composer.

    Maybe Noel's got some spare time?
