    I thought I might have been since I'm 16
  3. Finally, this forum seems to have many young members. 19 in a couple of months as for me.
  4. Haha, poor you. Not the youngest, not the oldest either

i know, poor me, nearly dead now. oh, well, has its perks, i've seen them live as early as the joshua tree tour. its worth being this old as i've grown up with u2, got into them in 1984 and been hooked since. you youngsters have missed their prime imo, 1987 to 1992 were the best gigs.

  5. we're fan since the same period .. i am since 1983 too
even if my first song was "Like a song" at a school party
  6. mine was pride on the radio, it was the ring of the guitar, been an addict ever sice. these younger fans have missed out i think. saw 3 joshua tree shows and cardiff arms park was my first ever gig. awesome

Yeah, I've always wished that I was born much earlier than 1995. I got into U2 at a very early age of 5.. As soon as I heard Beautiful Day in October 2000, that was me, favourite band ever since.
  8. i took 2 of my kids to wembley 1 and sheffield in 2009 and they loved it, they were 13 and 15 years old. also took them to paris last year and i consider it spreading the u2 word. the only problem is that its shit expensive buying 3 tickets for every show.
  9. Like I said, I fell for U2 after hearing their "new" single New Year's Day on the radio in 1983. I was 17 then, 44 now. First live show I saw unfortunately wasn't the War tour or the Unforgettable Fire tour, it was the Joshua Tree tour (july 1987).

U2 has accompanied throughout my life. Girlfriends, breakups, marriage, birth of my children, divorce, what have you. And I'm sure they will be played during my funeral as well in about 50 years time
