  1. Hey friends,

    Does anyone know if a remix of SATS exists that sounds like the "snippet" of SATS after Discotheque on the Elevation Tour? Like, when the bridge of Discotheque would run on, and Bono would go into Staring at the Sun...I'm curious if there's any full remixes of the song sounding like that...empty, just Larry's tambourine, Edge's chorus-filled picked out chords, sort of spacey like that. I think it sounds amazing that way, and it would be great to have a studio quality mix of it.

    If anyone is curious to hear what I mean, the opening night of the Elevation Tour in Sunrise is a perfect example.

    I know there are people on here who are far more familiar with the fruitlegs and such than I am, so I figured I'm in the right group of people to ask.

    4:10 mark in this video is a perfect example as well:

  2. That's a really nice version, but it doesn't sound anything like any of the (many) versions I have. I'd be interested to have a remix like this if it does exist.
  3. Anyone really into the massive amounts of fruitlegs who could tell us if something like this exists?
  4. Ironically, I just went through my fruitlegs and remixes the other day.
    Brothers in Ambient remix (I think that's the name) I think would be the closest. It's still got a lot more sound within it - a lot of synths and things-- but it still has the same overall "ambient," dreamy atmosphere.

    Will check further when I get home.

  6. That's the Monster Truck remix, not sure if that's what he's referring to or not.
  7. There are two SATS remixes on Artificial Horizon. The Brothers In RhythmAmbient mix sounds similar.


  8. Ah, I see now. Yeah that one's cool, and I like it a lot- But I'm looking for something more Edge prominent. I like that picked-out effect of the spacey notes so you can still hear the nice chord changes. If there's not one, thats all fine and good. But thanks for that one Chris- I'm going to add that to my library.
  9. I think the ambient SATS remix is one of U2s best remixes. It has such a 'beachy' feeling.

    Ah, gotcha. That's the most Elevation-esque one to my ears that I've heard on fruitlegs, sorry...at least you got another good remix out of it.
