Besides pop/rock/indie, I also listen to a lot of jazz-albums. Both "old school" jazz and new stuff, like electro-jazz.
Quite a few songs on this album sound just like a lot of electro-jazz I listen to, and then all of a sudden the "Radiohead juice" flows into the songs. So it makes perfect sense to me.
Just my late-tuesday-night thoughts.
