  2. Guys, guys, guys, it's 95% sure that this is about this guy's album, not U2's.

    It's time for U2 to start to work with some fresh people on the scene, people that have less respect for them. They were way to much comfortable last few years.

  5. So whats' the latest? It's seems to be really slow on the album news front - which is not good, probably means we won't get anything soon as you can't just do a quiet album release like Radiohead just did - not for U2 at least.

    True. It's weird how they've quietly been hyping it, as opposed to full-on promoting it. Just a few hints and positive thoughts here and there. I still don't see a May release date, but you never know. I can't remember how long before NLOTH came out we had heard about it. I know it came out in April or May or something, (of 2009), had we known about it since the year before? And I mean things like album title, tracklist, etc. Or was it all rumours and speculation up until February or March?

    U2 had been working on the album since 2007 -- indeed, they were already recording songs in 2006. Some songs (Breathe, UK, GOYB, Magnificent) were recorded outside of Bono's house in Eze in July or August 2008. The album was delayed at least once. All in all, it was a f****** long wait!!!
  8. Yeh NLOTH was out Feb 28, the beach clips surfaced in August the previous year, but nothing was really confirmed until December 08 i think
