not to mention there has not been one "benefit" that can not be found elsewhere save maybe presales for the tours, which let's be honest, is not worth the fee anyway imo
  2. All it says is that we would like U2 to provide a bit more on U2.com, is that really a big deal?

I voted with my feet a couple of years ago and still signed it because I thought that U2 deserved to know why I think their product stinks.

Look, if you are perfectly comfortable with U2.com the way it is, then ignore the petition. But IMO if you want them to provide more and don't say anything about it, you are just being lazy.
  3. most official websites are crap. i wont be signing a petition and i think anyone who does should get a grip
  4. I signed it, simply because U2 should be embarrassed to have such a shit website. Doesn't mean I agree with the somewhat overwrought sentiments in the letter. But really, I'm not renewing either way.

Exactly. I didn't sign the petition, but I "signed" by not renewing last year.
  6. i signed up to get 360 tickets but since then no chance....
  7. Wow!!! I'm surprised that you all like getting your money wasted. 50 bucks for a shitty cd that isn't exclusive, willie's diaries, and news 8 days after atu2.com has already confirmed it. WOW well if you all are dumb enough to spend 50 bucks for that then its your loss.

  8. what does that even mean??
  9. I agree its not the best option... but can an official site always be the best?

U2.com can't be the first to comment on rumors because they confirm it once its 100% certain. Of course other sites will always be quicker as they pick up the rumors, and dates change slightly all the time. Once its on U2.com, its locked in,

$50 bucks a year is worth it for the presale. Just add the extra $12.50 onto the tickets that you buy for everyone else. And if you think that the limited edition CD's are worthless take a look at what they are selling for on ebay/amazon!

Sure it could be better, but if your unhappy dont pay
