  3. Back on a U2 binge. No Leave Behind or Bomb (naturally). My first binge in a year and i'm glad of it.


  4. Zooropa is the best to welcome home - I guarantee it.
  5. Steve Lilywhite, seems like a truly truly lovely guy but just not right for U2 anymore it seems.
  6. I have to disagree about Steve Lillywhite. Produced my favorite U2 albums (Boy and War) as well as:

    1) Ultravox - Ultravox
    2) Peter Gabriel - Peter Gabirel
    3) Big Country - The Crossing (one of my all time favorites
    4) The Pogues - If I Should Fall From Grace With God
    5) The La's - The La's (an absolute classic)
    6) Thirty Seconds To Mars - This Is War (well, the wife likes it)

    Plus Rolling Stones, Morrissey

    Just think U2 got it horribly wrong on NLOTH and the fact that they hardly play any of it means they do too.

    I would think the relationship between Steve and the band is significantly different now from when they were producing Boy and War. I don't think anyone is denying Steve's talent as a producer, just the degree to which U2 want to use those talents.
