  1. I love that music. Here's an example:

    Off-topic, I know
  2. So they will play all the song the fans heard 2000x times and the non-fans 200x already
  3. A full-greatest-hits is in my opinion the worst thing they can do. OK, I understand that having the hardcore fans happy by playing Lady With The Spinning Head, Like A Song, Acrobat, One Tree Hill, Tomorrow, A Day Without Me, Please and Dirty Day in a row was not an option... But c'mon, lads, everyone has heard One, Bullet The Blue Sky, Elevation, Pride and WOWY over and over and over and over again throughout all this years...
  4. Greatest hits is fine by me just as long as they are performed well. WOWY in its current state just will not do.
  5. bottom line: they'll play the 360 set minus the Crazy remix.
  6. Please let on of the other guys tell Bono that when they only play there greatest hits it wont be a succes.

If they will play 24 songs then I think we will get the following songs:
IWF, SBS, NYD, Pride, Bad, Streets, ISHF, WOWY, AIWIY, One, THe Fly, UTTEOTW, Stay,BD, Stuck, Elevation,IALW, Walk On, Vertigo, COBL, Magnificent, Boots.

Then there are still 2 songs left: North Star and Glastonbury. Although Im not sure about The Fly and Bullet. But the other songs are their greatest hits I guess.

no one wants them to play interesting stuff more than me but just the fact that it sounds like they won't be playing a 360 (yawn) setlist is enough to make me happy... i'm hoping that by greatest hits it means a career spanning set which will hopefully take in every era (including pop) therefore meaning a few thing's we've not heard for a while and maybe even a couple of curveballs...

i'm just relieved that they have acknowledged that it has to be something special and not just another tour date

this is probably the best we can hope for (i'm being realistic here)

  8. You really think they will do POP on Glastonbury ?

    I'd enjoy that setlst.

Look for Desire and/or Angel of Harlem, Mysterious Ways, and (hopefully) EBTTRT. And get rid of Stuck and IALW.

  10. no of course they won't but if they knew what was good for them they would play mofo and gone...

    Gone would be great

    +1

Also I think this article is mostly made up. They planned Glastonbury last year as well. Cant imagine they didnt talk about the stage then.
