I will preface my comments by stating that I am all for spirituality and believing in/hoping for a higher power. I've have lots of opinions about "god/God" but I don't feel this is the time/place to voice them. Unfortunately, I have had too many family members, acquaintances, etc. try to push religion down my throat and it has really turned me off anything to do with a lot of facers involved with organized Christianity. I probably watch too much television (it's still the drug of a nation, y'know) but I cringe everytime a see some televangelist ranting away about morality and concluding his "sermon" by asking for me to send money. Let me tell you, they've got a lot of my grandmother's! The "beleivers" also seem to be a bit ...brainwashed...kind of like a Radiohead fan (which I am one). Anyway, for these incoherent reasons and, from what I've seen, the apparent insanity at Christian rock show - and I mean "insane" in a bad way - I have never given this form of music the time of day - and never intend to do so.
