1. Ok, here's the deal. I'm doing a kind of "Best of U2 live" compilation CD for the car. And I can't decide which version of Pride is the best. I like the versions from the Vertigo tour and forward best, because Bono can carry the chorus. Now... which post-Vertigo tour Pride is the best (and preferreably, very good sound, 4,5, 5 stars)?

One springs to mind, the one at the Obama concert... but I guess there's a better one? I need your bootleg knowledge U2start!
  2. Barca 1 from the current tour. Nice crowd play in the middle of it.
  3. Should it not be "post vertigo"? I'm possibly wrong..
  4. No, you're right. I've just watched to much news about pro-Gaddaffi forces taking over Libya

Will change it Can't edit the title though. Guess I'll let you have some fun at it
  5. Gadaffi just ruins it for everyone.. I'll have a root around later to see if I can find a decent Pride
  6. I dunno if it would fit onto your CD because of the theme but I just watched the Obama Pride live video and thought it was a good performace
  7. It's not as good without the video though... But having Pride+COBL from that performance would be a bit epic though... Will have to think about that one. But I am very much open to more suggestions!
  8. Scrap that idea, Sheffield has much better versions of both songs...
  9. how about some south american stuff from vertigo?

    or 2009-07-07 or 2009-08-15?

    love the crowd in milan
  10. maybe london 2005-06-18 for a segue between running to stand still and pride?
love those two songs from that gig
  11. Milan's great because of the audience <3 Same with Wembley because of the recordings
Sheffield is great if your going for both sound and performance.
any of these are fine choices actually
  12. I would go Sheffield if it had to be a recent recording. If not, I'd simply go with the damb one that was on Hattle And Rum, as I like to call it.
