1. And, just as the boards begin to pick up and I'm having a great time (after an unfortunately dead early morning for me)...I have to go to class I shall return in roughly an hour...

These conversations around the TUF thread better keep up to give me something to do later Thank God a good new topic has arisen, one that doesn't send separate sides into fights or promote stupid comments...reminds me why I spend so much time on this site

All of the sudden, the forums lightened up a bit. Gave me something to do, as I'm bored and not at school because of illness

Yeah the past few days they'd been pretty bleak, not a lot going on.

Feel better, by the way! Sickness sucks. Just a cold, or something like the flu?

Yeah. Can't wait until Friday when the setlist party will be going on for Santiago!

It's just a terrible cold. Sore throat, blocked nose, light headed... lucky I feel almost better now and only have a slight sore throat. Will be going back to school tomorrow though. How have you been doing recently?

Pretty good, been on a toootal U2 binge lately. Bootleg after bootleg- I'm up to my 147th now, and still rolling strong. In good health, just coming back to school after my spring break. Just over a month now til summer, which means concert season

I've been listening to a fair share of bootlegs recently. Kind of in love with Unforgettable Fire bootlegs 147!? Wow. I've only listened to about 90 something, I don't know There is only one member that I know that has probably listened to more bootlegs than you - patou2. The reviews page is massive for him.

God, I can't wait until summer. I only have about 3 weeks left of school, then I'm on holiday again, back for 4 days, then I'm on exam leave! Back to school for four weeks, then summer holidays! Decent. And of course, U2 will be playing North America between May and July which will be exciting
  7. Yeah patou is around a lot of the shows I've been checking out...I tend to disagree with him quite a bit, but that's just the way it goes I suppose And yes, I'll be at Soldier Field in July, and POSSIBLY in Michigan as well....not super confident in that one though. I'll also be hitting up Lollapalooza for the first time this year...Foo Fighters, Muse, Eminem, 30 Seconds to Mars, Girl Talk, Band of Horses, Anberlin, Crash Kings...cannot wait. Most of those are just rumored as of now, but some heavier than others...either way, I'm pretty much going solely for the Foos. The rest are just bonuses

I have disagreed with him sometimes too.

Nice! I really want to see U2 again, literally dying. I hope they announce some UK dates for this year. Ah, Lollapalooza, created by the singer of Jane's Addiction (forgot his name)? Not bad, I'd go for Foo Fighters, Muse and 30 Seconds to Mars, definitely. I'm going to T In The Park for one day this year. The headliners are Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay and Foo Fighters. Makes me really wish I was going for the weekend. I'll be seeing Coldplay which I'm really looking forward to. I'll also be seeing The Script, The View, Friendly Fires, Blondie, several others too. I'm also seeing Kings of Leon at Murrayfield on the 26th of June, and maybe Bon Jovi at the same venue on the 22nd of June. Got a lot of gigs to look forward to!
  9. Ah, yes, Arctic Monkeys are rumored for Lolla too (created by Perry Farrell )

Bon Jovi is an incredibly solid and consistently very well performed live act...they were my first show ever, back in their 2005 arena tour, and they blew me away. KOL I obviously saw much later (and am going again, with much better seats- in their hometown of Nashville (!!!), in about 3 weeks), but were very good as well.

Completely jealous of you seeing Coldplay. They top my "bands I need to see" list, among Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band, and the Foo Fighters.

    Perry Farrell, that's it!

Yeah, I really want to see Bon Jovi. They would be really crap seats (because they are the cheapest seats ) but still, it'll be a good show. There is still tickets left after being on sale for about 4 or so months. I'll be buying them soon I think.
Yeah, Kings of Leon is a band I've wanted to see for ages. Got excellent seats too.
How you getting to Nashville? Isn't that quite far away from Chicago?

I really want to see Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters too, they are on my list. Along with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse and alot more!
  11. Is there anyone here who have seen the South Park episode with Bono
