I think Rome was so great because it was the last European show for who knows how long, Bad was in it, All I Want is You was in it, and the performance was pretty good. Granted, that does put it above average for many of the 360 shows...but I think there are other stellar performances from the tour that are right up there with it. I'll give any show a chance.
One that I can definitely say is NOT up there with the rest is 2009-08-22 Cardiff, unfortunately. Listened between last night and this morning, and nothing stuck out to me whatsoever. Decent performance of Ultraviolet and that was about it. Oh well.
Of course Bad is a highlight! But I'm trying to refrain from letting one song determine what I think about a show. And if one looks at the show as a whole, I think San Sebastian is much better!! Bono's voice was a lot better on San Sebastian, on Rome I think he sounds a bit tired during a lot of songs.
I agree about Bono's voice, and I'm by no means saying that the San Sebastian performance was bad! Not at all... It was a great show to attend and is a great bootleg to listen to, but I think (think, not feel ) that the Rome show was better. More brilliance, more "spark".
Well as someone who didn't attend any of these show (or any other for that matter), I think San Sebastian is better But Bad from Rome is possibly the highlight of the Euro 2010 leg

I've been playing guitar (mostly U2, Muse, Arctic Monkeys and some self-made songs) today -since I've been at home the whole day-, and I have got tired of it. I never thought that would happen: ending up tired of playing guitar
And what wouldn't I give to have the time to play some guitar!! But I'm pretty much drowned in school work I guess those song ideas I have on my mind will have to wait
There are toughest songs to sing than MOS, I Will Follow (live, with the strong "Followww"'s he used to do on the 80s) comes to mind. I love singing to MOS.
