    mainly cause there's never a song i skip on BTR or BITU.. two of my favourite albums


  2. I can understand that, but you still get a pretty full set after the album. Foo Fighters are embarking on a tour playing their 11 song album front to back followed by a complete 20 song set to follow.
  3. I like the idea of playing all songs from an album in a row, but not neccesarely in the same order as they are on the album.

    For example, the only (!) thing that I dislike about Achtung Baby is the song order on the CD (vynil was another story), I think it just doesn't flow well enough, and it wouldn't do live either. But playing all the songs in a row, just in a different order (for example: Zoo Station, The Fly, Even Better, Mysterious Ways, One, Until The End Of The World, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses, Tryin' To Throw, So Cruel, Ultraviolet, Acrobat, Love Is Blindness) would kick ass.

    i want tickets to the fooies show this weekend
    and i can't fucking get them and it is really pissing me off
    200 more get put out on friday and i want 2!

  7. I cherish my burned copy of Achtung...before I had any source of income or way to get music, my uncle let me burn a copy of AB before I was even a true fan, and it's been with me ever since. Currently, since I've bought the album the burned copy is the one that stays in the car. It has been thrown, scratched, scuffed, dropped on everything from carpet to pavement, played a hundred times over, and overall roughed up more than any CD in my entire music collection, and it still plays just as perfect as it did on the first day. Not a single skip.

    That's magic.

  10. Found it rolling around in my car's little console where I store CD's (the cases dont fit) last week, decided to give it a spin wondering how far I'd get before it started going nutso on me...never did. Bottom looks like a freakin' road map, it's so obliterated.
