  3. we have to also be grateful that they didn't just shove Beautiful Day in the second slot that would have been awkward, I really like BD's spot right now.

    Just back and I´m still buzzzzzing!

    Although I had heard Edge playing EBTTRT in Santiago I did not expect that as an opener. Haven´t read all the pages here but its worth pointing out that it was the Perfecto mix that was played and it rocked!!! Got the gig off to the perfect start and the place was buzzing from there on. BD was so much better in its later slot - would be shocked and murderously angry if the band revert to it after this.

    It was the Perfecto remix they were practising before Barca in 09 if memory serves so eventually makes an appearance.

    There may have been more snippets but this was the gig as I remember it.

    There was a Happy Birthday in there somewhere but it was never said who it was and even Bono seemed to wait on the Edge to sing her name (Shanti(?) ).

    Bono made some truly horrendous errors and his voice wasn´t as good as on Friday but his singing is still superb. Great show, better stadium and better crowd.

  7. While I actually like this version of Even Better Than The Real Thing, I personally think it does not work well as a show opener. It feels like it should be early in the set, but after the crowd has been warmed up.

    I actually think Fez would work as an epic opener. Also, I believe that the show should open with a song from the newest album, so Fez and even Stingray Guitar --> Boots would work well here.


    Anyhow, 2 more nights in Argentina. Maybe we'll see Mothers of the Disappeared played in full, perhaps The Fly, but I have a feeling that All I Want Is You or The First Time will be played.

    I think Bad, Unknown Caller, All I Want Is You and Mercy could be played in one of the upcoming nights. But they got enough time to reahears for saturday so who knows
  9. Cool, very good surprise .. i didn't expect they change the opener during a leg .. they show they still want to try something new and to surprise every now and then
    anyway i still prefer the Soon/Breathe entrance, i'm not talking of the songs, just the entrance.
    i read before Even better should take the place of Crazy remix, i think it's good where it is, hoping it will form now on, Discotheque absolutely should be in Crazy place
    step by step we could have the perfect setlist in Moncton LOL .. uhm no there will always be Vertigo LOL

    I've watched it now... and holy shit, it's amazing. They could have bumped it 3 or 4 semitones up just for the sake of being more intelligible (and singalong-able), but it kick ass anyway. 37486230 times better of an opener than Beautiful Day.
