  3. If Bono had a better voice, if Bono didn't speak over the intro, and if the shot of the huge flash showed the crowd instead of Bono... yes, it would be great.

    To me its the best Streets Although the one from Slane is amazing too.

    I was listening to exactly the same live feed and couldn't believe it either. I wish they'd surprise us like that a bit more often. I wouldn't be too hard to slip a completely random song from the back catelogue into the setlist. Same place in the set every night, somewhere late on in the show to keep us die hards going when the set gets a little boring.

    Starting with With a Shout is the worst, and they did that once. At Slane Castle in 1981 supporting Thin Lizzy. Awful opener.


    I'd love to hear With a Shout! It's one of my favourites that I've never seen live.


  7. I, for whatever reason/excuse, was unable to attend a show during The Elevation Tour so I was left to see them perform on the Boston DVD. I was floored by their performance (editted and all) of this version of Streets. Was equally moved by their performance at Slane.

    I like how he speaks over the intro here, it's fitting with the music and the theme of the tour.

    It's a spiritual song, he speaks spiritually.

    He doesn't ruin it here by linking it to a set subject like Africa.
