    Larry's cymbals, Edge's guitar, Bono's voice all are backed - Larry even rather plays the Vertigo Discothèque version. Probably to make the sound "fuller"...

    What I find interesting is, that the concept is exactly the same, they used to build up the show when Breathe was the opener... Let's see if it will suffer from the same stuff once the excitement settles...

    As for Stipe in that picture, that's from Santiago... don't think it's him. But he was with Bono in NYC the day before the show - maybe Bono shanghaied him and brought him to Chile the B.A. Baracus way...

  7. Now that I've had some sleep, here's my opinion on EBTTRT-

    I think its a fantastic arrangement, I think it just kicks ASS, in all honesty. I think if they were opening shows with it consistently, it could do better as the original arrangement, but this is still better than everything else they've tried. This would also fit virtually anywhere else in the setlist which I like about it.

    Hope they keep it around...also hope that even if they don't open with it we see it in the setlist.

  10. It's an awesome opener but, two things I wouldn't mind seeing:

    - Play the Perfecto Mix when they're walking on (pretty sure something mentioned that)
    - Get Bono to walk around the during it, like he done with Stingray.
