looking forward to read your review
  3. Oh man i must be the only person on here who thinks EBTTRT was a crap opener, yeah great to hear it again after so long, not as rocking as they used to play it but good to have it a bit different, but unless this is now a greatest hits tour and they are no longer touring in support of NLOTH then surely a new song has to open?
Beautiful Day was a touch disappointing last year but that can be forgiven as Stingray Guitar was fresh and pumping.Come on Zoo Station,Mofo,Elevation and Vertigo were all new songs and great openings,EBTTRT should be a few songs in imo.
  4. I Will Follow On this concert just made that song tied with Pride for first place in "times played"
  5. It was a really great concert to hear.

  6. Nah. It's just the "official" U2gigs count, but I Will Follow is ahead for sure. Keep on mind that a lot of pre-83 shows (where I Will Follow was constantly played - sometimes even twice) don't have a confirmed setlist and therefore their performances aren't counted...
  7. I know and thought about that I think it's awesome and well deserved for IWF!!

  8. U2gigs FAQ for it:

What song have U2 played live the most?

I Will Follow is the song U2 have performed live the most. Pride actually appears marginally higher than I Will Follow in our list of song names by times played, but it should not actually be considered to be the song U2 have performed live the most. Due to the absence of some sets as outlined in a previous question, the play count for almost every song that debuted before 1985 is lower than it should be. Both Pride and I Will Follow are victim to this, but only a few concerts at which Pride may have been (and almost certainly was) played lack setlists, while a considerable amount of setlists are missing for shows at which I Will Follow may have been (and almost certainly was) played. Pride's actual play count is probably only six higher than currently given. In contrast, I Will Follow's play count understates reality by at least 130 performances, and due to U2's tendency to play it at least twice at many Boy Tour gigs, the actual amount of performances may be in excess of 160 above the currently known amount. Consequently, as of July 2010 (before the start of the third leg of the 360° Tour), I Will Follow's probable performance total should be considered 900 or greater, while Pride's should only be considered to be approximately 780.
