  1. Like with Europe 2010, I thought about maybe setting up a thread here to try to organize smth for potential multicams of the upcoming North American shows.

    This list is intended to keep track of anyone who is planning to record either the whole concert or some songs and want to contribute to potential multicam projects. That way it might be easier to get organized?

    So if you plan to film (in HD and 16 : 9 only please) or even want to edit, let me know and I'll update the list - just tell me the concert, your location (GA / stands) and planned amount of songs (some songs / complete).

    Personally, I'd do 2-4 multicams, but am undecided which shows.

  2. Saw this already on U2T too. Very nice to have someone coordinating all efforts. I can imagine footage can be traded / shared more quickly this way.

    It's worth a try but I am seriously not thinking that there'll be multicams for all the US shows (but if you have a look at the 2nd Euro leg...There is or will be a multicam for EVERY concert it seems: San Sebastian, Hannover, Vienna, Athens, Istanbul, Moscow, Horsens, Sevilla, Rome, Bussels and Coimbra are all worked on - let's hope ppl keep to their "promises" regarding editing), but let's see what happens....I hope it will be noticed on the forum on interference as most Americans are active there (I guess). Many sources, if not the most, should come from contacting youtube users tho.

    As I wrote, I'd be in for making 2-4, but only if I can get enough good sources and if the setlist changes at least a bit more compared to the Euro leg. ...I am honestly slowly getting bored with editing In A Little While, Walk On and Miss Sarajevo .
  4. Does anyone have any concrete info about multicam projects for the South Americans shows so far? I heard u2chile.net is collecting but I don't see they do requests on the forums or have any info spreading around. There have to be multicams of Buenos Aires

  6. I'm goin to NY and philly and will be filming stuff from GA.I'm thinkin front rail for philly and the outer centre for NY,will try and keep a steady hand this time katja!

    I'm thinkin of buyin the lumix tz10 as well,which has better video for glastonbury

    hehe never mind, if u prefer to enjoy the show, then do so!
    as for cams i highly recommend you the sony cabyershot hx9v (it will be the future multicam cam I guess ). it is the same price range but has full hd (anaheim will be shot with some ppl using this cam). audio is decent but a bit worse than what you willhave with the lumix tho.
