  2. Hey all, can't stick around for the show tonight, but i had a thought a few minutes ago and opened a topic on it, i would love to klnow what everyones thoughts are...maybe i'll get my work done and get back with everyone before the end of the show...enjoy the fun!

  5. Might actually work better here...we'll see. Bono needs to be worked up and really energetic during this song, and he wasn't the past few nights. Just stood there. He may be a little more into the show at this point.

    Also, have finally decided that the new version is nowhere near as good as the PopMart versions which are probably my favorites. The Mexico version especially. There was just so much pop in those performances (no pun intended)...and while this remix is pretty badass, nothing will beat the original performances from the 90's. The guitar line gives Bono more room to dance around and the band as a whole to get into it...this is too sleek for that.

    So perhaps not as an opener...we'll see what this one sounds like in the middle of the set-opening later
  6. Well, I'd prefer EBTTRT to open the show, but damn I just love what they're doing on this tour, especially the past few legs. Just really mixing it up. Usually opening songs are quite static. Shows they've still got balls and won't rest on their laurels in terms of setlists.
  7. U2gigs apparently has a setlist spoiler to post on their site soon. I'll be checking it out, but we should probably keep it off of here (correct?) as fair play to those who want to follow the Twitter streams and discuss the show as it happens.

    I wouldn't look if it were night one or two, but I might not be around for the whole show this time so I can afford to find out.

    I think he was just trying to concentrate on getting the performance down, nothing more nothing less. With time it can only improve I just don't want the song to be dropped

    I looked at lyrics from Even Better and there already stood it would be played tonight.
    So I checked some others too and it counts for all songs...


    EDIT : I think U2gigs just found this out the same way. Damnit. Thought I found out something spectacular
