Is this a reference to U2?

Was watching Oceans 13 last night and when they are writing the letters to the ill guy (yes I didn't watch it that closely ) there was a comment 'As the band says, two hearts beat as one'

Are they referring to the U2 song? I'd guess so as I can't think of any other song or lyric with those exact words.

What do you guys think?
