1. Did anyone listen last Friday to the interview of that Dublin radiostation with Edge?
Did he really say it's unlikely playing Dublin again this year?

I didn't listen to it, but yeah, he said it. The actual quote has been posted several times in some threads over here. This is it:
"I think we're probably gonna pack up the U2 claw after the American shows. I doubt if -- but you can never say never. But right now, if you wanted my opinion, I'd say that that will be the end."

Oh, and user Yeah uploaded the interview, you can get it here if you fancy:

  3. Me and my friend arrived to Zagreb (the second concert) at 8 pm, legally bought our tickets (first row on grandstands behind the band) and enjoyed the show. Never in my life have I had a chance to buy tickets more easily.
  4. It's logical. If there are 80.000 people attending a show, some of them will have problems to get tickets, some will not.

They will tour exactly as long as suits them and no longer, IMO.

    +1

  6. Hehe, actually, when I saw this yesterday, I was thinking about Elvis
I mean, how stupid can you be?
Anyway, right now it's the word of Marcel Avram against Oprescu's. What can I say, I didn't vote for him and never will
It's a pity, 'cause they presented things as certain and I was sure it was achievable in case of another leg. Looks like I might have to cancel my hotel reservations for Dublin too
We'll just have to fight, live another day and be content with the other artists who's gonna drop by this year. And of course, Sziget

  7. Ah, you're coming there. I was hoping Suede will play but it seems they're disappointing me, too. Will have to do with a PF show next year
  8. I'm genuinely surprised they're not doing any Asian shows. Hell, Dylan's touring China, Vietnam and (I think) South Korea, even the Backstreet Boys were playing Saigon the week I left. It's a huge market and while the venues aren't all fabulous, it still would have been great to see them there.

Is Suede back together again then? Saw them often as they regularly played in Dublin when I lived there

  10. Ah, lucky you. Yep, they're back together
