  1. Hello guys

2 A.M. here and I just arrived home from the show of my life. I'm speechless....There's no word in this world that can describle my feelings about the spetacular gig U2 and the audience gave to me few hour ago. I just want to say U2 loves Brazil, and Brazil loves U2 so much

I also had the time of my life during Streets....My brother put me on his shoulders and carried me up during the hole song....I was just there singing, looking to that crawd and stadium with my open arms and wow I really wish you could see the images on my mind....Seeing everybody screaming, jumping and THAT bands performance in the midle od the GA area, but from a little above is just f**ing awesome!

The only downside is that the crowd isn't really all over it. they seem too confused

I don't blame the crowd for being confused. Even if they had been following the soundchecks, this is coming completely out of left field. Even the visual effects used seemed to have the sole intent of completely overwhelming and confusing the audience. You have this complete barrage of light and color accompanied by The Edge's bizarre guitar playing that doesn't really show up in many other songs. Additionally, the band is playing in the dark. Based on the U2gigs video, I can't even see the band during the entire song.

Amen. Gonna take a few more listens, but this I feel like this is the first song in a while that really seems to fit the entire stage perfectly - the ambience of it, the space-iness, the visuals with it...and yes, plus it is just a great fucking song.

And I LOVE--love love--when "What Do You Want?" flashes on the screen in huge letters. great geat stuff.
  4. i LOVE the fact that you can't see the band <3 and that the legs aren't lighting up, attention is ALL on the screens extension genius move. I would have assumed the entire stage would be lighting up but THIS is way beyond my expectations and assumptions.
  5. Once again, I have lots of things to share with you guys...

I coudn't believe when they started playing Out Of Control...And Oh My God they played Zooropa...I was the only one jumping during the song, but people really enjoyed after the song came to an end....It was heaven on earth!

Lots of snippets during the night, and this setlist is the best one of the tour in my opinion....What a grea great great night we had

    Talk to you tomorrow

It really adds to the aura of mystery. I'm also really pleased with where they placed in the setlist. I feel like it fills the void that The Unforgettable Fire left when they dropped it. Miss Sarajevo --> City Of Blinding Lights felt odd to me.

I am soo jealous of you Aidan I hope you know that.
  10. Out Of Control, Zooropa and no In A Little While! This might become be their greatest touring year since 1993, if they drop Get On Your Boots and play Bad every night.

I'll have to watch that video, it sounds badass. I wanted them to do something like this for a while now.
