  1. happiness is a small word to describe what I felt.

  3. Aidan - absolutely loving the picture! And what an exceptional review! Glad you had an epic time!

    P.S. Enjoy Wednesday!
  4. Thank you very much! All of you....We are part of something bigger than a website here...

And that's the speech I was talking about....

I still don't believe in what happened last night....It was too good to be true

It was as a rainy day in São Paulo. This rain stoped and gave place to a beautiful and clean sky full of stars before the beggining of the show...God's touch maybe? Looking up to see the Claw in all it's glory and colours and pointing up to those stars was surreal.

Once again, the show started with everybody jumping during EBTTRT. After the song came to it's end, I said to my brother: "I think it's time for New Year's Day..." As I was saying the word Day, the first chords of Out Of Control were played by The Edge. I got crazy....I coudn't believe in that...I started jumping like an animal and said an incredible quantity of words that I can't put here before Bono start singing. Audience's reception was absolutely fantastic. Band's performance was fantastic too....Bono looked crazy and it really seemed they were having a great time! The words of Bono keep on my ears: "On Special occasions, our first single...Out Of Control"....Man, that as incredible

After that, a great energy, people screaming and jumping all around the stadium and a fantastic performance of our 4 boys...They were giving 200%, 300% of their energy yesterday, and I have to say again that the reaction of the crowd during Magnificent still gives me goosebumps....Never saw something like that. And Edges riffs are superb when you're so close to them in the GA area.

Before I Still Haven't Found, Bono made a beautiful speech. To say a few words, he said lots of bands say they love Brazil, but only U2 knows the real meaning of loving Brazil. He said we're practically married, and he, Larry and Adam do know how Brazil loves U2, but Edge's wanted to see if it was really true. Pleople went nuts. Everybody screaming, clapping the hands and being loud. The band was thrilled. It really looked they were about to cry right there. Edge started I Still Haven't Found guitar, and we had our closest contact with God in the night. Amazing to see the audience singing loud with the band, and band's faces during the song.

After the song, Bono said people didn't need to work at monday. He said it was a holliday....U2 Day in São Paulo. Amazing!

After this, I have to say I wasn't expecting Pride, one of my favorite songs. To tell you a little nice history, I went to the show with my brother and a friend of mine who loves Pride. I told him the chances of they playing Pride wasn't too big, since they played the song at the 3rd night in Argentina. It was lovely. They started playing the song and my friend had teh same reaction I had during Out Of Control. I was very happy too and started to jumping and screaming since I wasn't expecting that. One of the best performances of Pride I've seem in recent years for sure. Superb audience's reaction too. One of the highlights of the show, even if it's hard to fing highlights for yesterday night.

North Star was great! Incredible how people seems to love this song without knowing it!

Beautiful Day, as usual, was incredible! It's awesome how Brazilian people react to this song! And those snippets were surreal! They fit in the song and make it work even better!

Miss Sarajevo had one of the best singing by Bono ever, in my opinion. Really deep and emotion and, as I said, it looked like he was giving his best!

Then, the magic. The heaven on earth. The song that can be describle with his own name: Zooropa. OMG! No words to describle my feelings and thoughts. Edge started those chords and wow....I went completely nuts. People got shocked! It was like and "Bang...Right on your face!" Only the scream. The band playing inside the scream with zero lights coming from there. If you find a word to describle this part of the show, please let me know

Once again, crowd reception to Bliding Lights and Vertigo was phenomenal. Crazy Remix also was very nice. Audience had a better participation than they had in saturday show.

Sunday Bloody Sunday is one of that songs that people were waiting. A great number of people don't follow U2 like us, so they want the classics. This is good because we still had a nice aucience participation during Bloody Sunday. Everybody singing with Bono

Also great to see people screaminh Rejoice when Bono asked. Gave goosebumps!

One also had great audience participation, since it's the favorite U2 song of the biggest part of Braziliams (at least a survey showed that).

Then, I had the time of my life. I know it's hard to feel greater feelings than the ones I had in Paris, since watch an U2 gig at your birthday is something spetacular. But when I was singing amazing grace with Bono, my brother put his head between my legs and lifted me up during the hole Streets! Happiness is a small word to describe what I felt. I gave my lungs and my heart during this moment. I've never felt such a magical thing. Watching the most memorable performance of our boys in years, during the best song ever made, in the middle of the GA area and with everybody singing and jumping around me and letting those ballons flying away...Seeing all of this from a perfect position and see Edge stop and look at me.... I only had to say thank you for everything. For our boys doing their best, the people in the stadium, the energy. After the song, my brother put me on the ground and I couldn't believe in that moment. I gave him a big hug and started crying like a child. Best crying someone could have, I must say

After the song, Bono said it was a day to remember forever, and he couldn't be more right. Bands faces were a magical thing to see. They appeared at the scream and it looked like they couldn't believe in their eyes.

Ultra Violet was another shock. I always loved this song and I never thought I would watch it live. Amen to the lyrics, the performance of teh boys and of teh crowd.

With Or Without You had another excellent reception by the audience, and I have to say that it was one of the most beautiful WoWY they played in this tour. Perfect work by the Edge, and in the middle of the song, during the calm part, Bono put his head on the microphone and closed his eyes for about 30 seconds....He knewn the night was ending, and this was the most beautiful way to say thank you for us.

After a beautiful speech, once again remembering the kids killed in a school in Rio de Janeiro, MoS came and closed the perfect gig.

Sorry for my long text...I just had to share my emotions with you guys!

    Take care

Awesome account of a fabulous night

It seemed pretty amazing from where I was last night, and that's was sitting in my bed in dear old England at 4am or so watching through someone's iPhone stream - I was getting a lump in my throat during Streets and WOWY, so quite frankly I'm pleasantly shocked that you managed to not die of happiness in the stadium! Amazing show. Amazing.
  6. Don't think I've anticipated a bootleg this much since Turin Sure to be a top downloaded one...

Running to Stand Still can only be played after One and that godly harmonica solo at the end has to bridge directly to the intro of Streets.

If they do this, nothing short of a complete disaster will knock this tour from its position as the greatest tour ever.
  8. i see from that streets video that Adam is playing that alternative bass line that he does after the chorus alot more often... Been loving his bass work this tour! Really adds a bit of spice to proceedings!!

I think this last show in Brazil is going to be amazing!! The band have obviously been looking forward to these south american shows since the viertigo tour and being their last show in Brazil i reckon it will be a stunner... and to broadcast it as well will be special!! Just hoping for some better sound quality!! and maybe a DVD release

I honestly doubt that there will be a DVD released for this concert. Of course, I would really like a DVD released, but I think this concert is too unpredictable for them to expect a DVD. I do think there will be DVD quality sound recordings and possibly video recordings floating around, but not an official concert DVD.
  10. I wish they would release a DVD with some backstage scenes and the best performances from South America! imagine this:

Even Better Than The Real Thing - Argentina 1
Out of Control - Brazil 2
    Pride - Brazil 2
    Bad - Argentina 3
    I Still Haven´t Found - Brazil 2
    Zooropa - Brazil 2
    MOTD/ Streets - Chile
    And others!
