Actually pretty much all shows circulating from the Vertigo US Legs are great quality. Much better than the stuff from the european and rest of the world legs.

Agreed there but I love the audience stadium shots. All about preference

Get the Chicago 05-12 as soon as you can. It's awesome.

Yeah all the HD-recorded shows are a must-have, quality is too good to be true.

You just would have to pick the DVDs up from his and pay him the costs of the discs.
The Buenos Aires-DVD I have is of great quality, it shall be this one:
http://www.achtungbootlegs.com/index.php?nav=252&bootId=2269 (the quality of the screenshots doesn't resemble the actual quality).

I was from South Australia, a few thousand kilometres from Sydney like 5000 or something.

Anyway, I like the sounds of the HD one - Buffalo (which I have watched somewhere before and was very impressed with it) and Buenos Aires HD are going to be there too. Let me decide on the final lot and I'll write them here. If it's like Irving Plaza or Joshua Tree LA then it's fine by me. They're pretty damned good.
  10. Basel 93 was very good. I enjoyed it, even if it wasn't the best quality. See, something like that is great because it's an awesome show, awesome sound and fun.

Another question: how many DVDs are HD videos, now that I found I can play HD? Also, I don't know how many of you have seen it but there is an "alternate" camera-angle version of the official Chicago DVD, which was pretty cool. It's in the U2hub somewhere and all WMV files of about 30MB each, about seven or eight full clips.

The most amazing thing is all these unofficial videos that maybe half of the fans wouldn't even know of, and what they're missing, going back 20 years or more. Absolutely amazing stuff.

Indeed. But shows at an arena are pretty easier than filming in a stadium. In the arenas, if you're located in an angle of 10º degrees with the stage, your recording will be the same than at 60º. In a Stadium, a 10º angle mean crap.

It's the closest your gna get to the band though unless your in GA (which means a really shaky shot) but you cn't get the full effect of the big screen etc with an extreme angle. Great example being the Sarajevo show
